CARE

CARE has been running the FCC for past 20 years. Until the year 2006, the FCC was under the control of TAMILNADU SOCIAL WELFARE BOARD and from 2007, the CENTRAL SOCIAL WELFARE BOARD took charge of it. The FCC has 2 counsellors and together they have to achieve the monthly target of 30 cases, Besides, they have to render their services to the All Women Police Station in Erode, attend the grievance day meeting held at the collectorate, be present at the helpline meetings and participate in the mobile counselling held in various panchayat’s twice a week.

The objective of FCC is to help the disputing couples to resolve their differences and stay together to uphold the institution of the family and in impossible vases arrange for free legal Aid to settle the case in a court of law which will decide on legal separation, maintenance, custody of children and property settlements.
